How we go about it
We are a small independent studio in the UK. We make Chrome extensions that take things away rather than add them — and we publish the source, so you never have to take our word for what they do.
One job, done properly
Every extension has a single purpose and runs on a single site. If a feature does not serve that purpose it does not ship, however much we would enjoy building it.
The fewest permissions we can ask for
One permission each, plus access to the one site the extension is for. No access to your other tabs, no browsing history, nothing that reaches beyond the job.
Read the code yourself
Both extensions are MIT licensed and public on GitHub. Nothing is sent anywhere, there is no server and no analytics — and you do not have to trust us on that, because you can check.
Free, and staying free.
Both extensions are free, MIT licensed and always will be. There is no paid tier waiting behind them. If one has saved you some irritation and you feel like putting something in the hat, it keeps the work going — and if not, that is genuinely fine.
Write to a person, not a queue.
Bug reports, feature requests, or a note to say something broke after a site update — all welcome, and all read by the person who wrote the code. Issues on GitHub work just as well.
